Why "Pin The Tail On The Donkey?" One theory is that more than a few donkeys are born with either no tail or just a tiny nub and it's the child's responsibility to remedy what The Creator was unable to do. Others are convinced that the game is actually a symbol of predicting the future, as demonstrated by the way in which the kid must attempt to hit the right spot despite being blindfolded and spun 'til too dizzy to stand. If the child is successful at hitting the spot, she is clearly gifted and needn't worry about disease, poverty and republicans. As you can see, none of the children from Zooey's seventh birthday party will be immune. Damn donkey.
