Yes, I'm back. Hopefully I won't be taking anymore three-month sabbaticals anytime soon, but if I do, I promise I'll have more to offer than whatever I just posted. My daughter has been prolific in her drawing lately and inspired me to carve out a few moments to begin our family holiday greeting card. Naturally, the wife hated it and asked for a cute kitten wearing a red bow poking its head out of a stocking hung mirthfully from the mantle... well, truthfully, I only assume she said something like that after I tuned her out for not weeping with awe over my ass-clown-crazy talent. Whatever the case, I'll be developing a few more options trying to capture the yuletide cheer so please check back soon to see what happens. I don't know yuletide cheer so the chances of it showing up here is doubtful but you never know. As for this robot/reindeer thing, I may or may not try to finish it off... admittedly, its direction may be too abstract for the family card but it was moderately fun to do.

ham is awesome. i was in my yard and i could smell ham. i asked my wife if she was cooking ham but, she said "no, i think it's the neighbor's dinner you smell."

You can imagine my disappointment.
this drawing makes up for that disappointment. a little.
