So the skinny on this is my brother's buddy has a volleyball team and they need a logo. I was asked to do it but being busy with work stuff, I haven't been able to give it my full attention. As a bit of a joke I suggested they needed an animal mascot who likes to dig like a badger, mole or gopher. I remember Tex Avery doing some fun critters so I syphoned some inspiration from him, combined it with the volleyball team's love of sex and this is my starting point. The gopher looks like he's murdering the ball instead of loving it but with some finessing maybe I can make it appear sweet, disgusting and sporty all at the same time.
