Overall, things have been OK. It helps that life is so overwhelming that it blights out most of what is burdensome. My wife wants to raise chickens on a farm... I have no interest in poultry and the solitude of rural living is frightening but I must admit I'm intrigued. Especially if I get to have a herd of labradors.

Ameraucana chickens are cool. My relatives have some cute white ones and some that are a beautiful, brilliant orangey-red color. The eggs they lay are actually Easter egg colored too.
